Cathodic Corrosion Protection with Approval WEICON Zinc Spray Bright Grade LOCTITE 7800

WEICON Zinc Spray "bright grade" is approved by the German TÜV and provides all metal surfaces with a long-lasting cathodic corrosion protection. It has a bright colour shade matching fresh hot-dip galvanization. It forms a fast-drying, adherent protective layer of microfine zinc flakes. The zinc flakes form a resistant protective layer even against extreme weather and environmental conditions. Even after more than 550 hours in the salt spray test according to DIN EN 9227, metal parts coated with WEICON Zinc Spray "bright grade" did not show any corrosion. WEICON Zinc Spray "bright grade" can be used for the coating of welded joints and drill holes, as a conductive intermediate layer for spot welding and wherever metal must be protected against corrosion.

LOCTITE® SF 7800 is a grey, solvent-based, zinc and aluminum resin spray for protecting ferrous metals against corrosion. It’s typically used for touching up metal parts after welding, providing long-term protection of metal assemblies and restoring protection to repaired galvanized parts, such as crash barriers, tubes, flanges, tanks and panels. It’s also suitable for restoring protection to repaired galvanized parts. It cures at room temperature by solvent evaporation.

  • Long term corrosion protection for galvanized parts
  • Operating range: -50°C to 550°C (-58°F to 1022°F)
