The epoxy resin system WEICON Ceramic W provides high wear protection and high abrasion resistance. It is chemical-resistant and has a high temperature resistance up to +230 °C; for a short period of time even up to +250 °C. Ceramic W is non-sagging, can be spread with a spatula. It can be applied on vertical surfaces and even overhead. It is suitable for the bonding or lining of aluminium oxide stones in mill construction, for the lining of heavily stressed pump housings, as wear protection for slide bearings, slides and pipes and wherever darker-coloured products are not suitable for optical reasons. LOCTITE® PC 7230 is a 2-part, grey, ceramic-filled, trowelable epoxy compound surface coating with high temperature resistance, from -30 to +230°C. The compound protects processing equipment from coarse particle abrasion by creating a sacrificial coating to preserve the structural integrity of the original substrate. Trowelable consistency makes this product a good choice for application to overhead and vertical surfaces.
