Mineral-Filled Epoxy Resin System For Wear Protection Coating WEICON Ceramic W LOCTITE 7228

The epoxy resin system WEICON Ceramic W provides high wear protection and high abrasion resistance. It is chemical-resistant and has a high temperature resistance up to +230 °C; for a short period of time even up to +250 °C. Ceramic W is non-sagging, can be spread with a spatula. It can be applied on vertical surfaces and even overhead. It is suitable for the bonding or lining of aluminium oxide stones in mill construction, for the lining of heavily stressed pump housings, as wear protection for slide bearings, slides and pipes and wherever darker-coloured products are not suitable for optical reasons. The product can be used in machine and system construction, mill construction, apparatus engineering, and in many other industrial areas

LOCTITE® PC 7228 is a 2-part, white, ceramic-filled, brushable self-levelling epoxy surface coating, which creates a high gloss, low-friction surface. It protects against fine particle abrasion and corrosion under dry service temperatures from -30°C to 95°C (-22°F to 203°F), and works well as a top coat over LOCTITE wearing compounds for applications requiring surface rebuilding and lasting protection.
