The CMS Monitor is designed to detect carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons in compressed air supplies, activating both visual and audible alarms when CO levels reach 10 parts per million. The CMS-1 model is wall-mounted, while the CMS-2 is a portable unit housed in a rugged carrying case. Both models are shielded to block radio frequency interference and come equipped with 10 feet of 1/8" tubing plus connector fittings. An electrochemical sensor ensures an immediate response to CO presence. The CMS-2 features a durable polycarbonate case with an impact-resistant clear cover that meets NEMA-4 standards, as well as a polyethylene case with dual hinges, dual latches, and a weather-resistant rubber seal for dust-tight protection. The built-in alarm produces a nominal noise level of 98 dB at one foot, with an optional remote alarm rated at 100 dB at 3.1 feet.
